Buying a boat sight unseen when it is close to 2500 miles away is not an easy task. However when it is the boat of your dreams and only 7 were ever made you just can’t help but look for a way to turn your dream into reality. Fortunately that is where UShip comes in. I had not used the UShip service before and was somewhat leery about the entire process; fortunately it was an easy one and within minutes I had my listing posted. Now all I had to do was wait and hope for bids; and bids that would be within my price range. Within hours my objective had been met. I got my first bid and it was within my budget so I could breathe easier knowing there was some response. What I didn’t expect was within days I had several bids; 10 in total all offering great prices and with solid feedback ratings. Suddenly I had an unexpected task; actually having to narrow done several very good bids to just one successful bidder. In the end I selected Longo1934. His was not the lowest bid but it was very competitive and it was clear he had lots of experience with smaller loads like mine and a very impressive feedback rating. That very night I had a call from Bobby thanking me for choosing him and sure enough several days later he was picking up my boat exactly as he promised. Within 24 hours of pick up he completed some much needed tasks to my trailer and was on the road. We kept in touch throughout the process. The trailer had all kinds of issues; to numerous to mention but Longo1934 took care of each and every one of them On Saturday; just five days after the boat was picked up I was able to meet Longo in person and see first hand what he had to deal with for a trailer. It was clear to me without Longo’s dedication and experience my boat would not have made the journey back to me; and without UShip I would never have fond Longo1934. Thanks to Longo1934 and UShip my dream is now parked in my driveway.
