I have been using EBay here in the UK for years and I used to hate browsing the USA eBay site as the prices were so much better especially now with the dollar and pound sterling at 2 to 1.
So anyway we had a bid on this boat a 1996 Maxum 2700 SCR we got it a real good price, wow, $26000 or in pounds sterling 13000 pounds! Ding, what have we done, how are we going to move it, we email various boat hauling companies in the states wow the best one came in at around $2000 a lot said it was to short a load, ok panic we’ve spent $26000 and have not got a hauler, don’t worry we carried on searching and found uship.com, brilliant! posted our load and the same day we had offers it was really that simple we did not choose the cheapest or the dearest we chose the one that replied the best we chose AnnesLimo at $564.93 because we got the right questions answered and he also asked the questions. We could not have chose a more honest and job conscientious person considering the whole transaction was achieved over 2000 miles apart Robert sent a lot of photos to keep us updated as to the progress. It was like I was dealing with my neighbor, no, it was easier than dealing with my neighbor.
Would I do it again, I save about 15000 pounds not dollars we’ve got a great boat and now have a good friend in Robert the hauler.
Would I use uship again you bet I would.
Just one question to uship when are you going to set up uship.uk we need you.
Thank you to all.
