After carefully considering numerous motorcycles on ebay and actually bidding (and losing) on a few of them, I finally found the one I wanted. I was determined not to lose out on this one and low and behold, when the auction ended, I was the one standing in the winner's circle. After a brief celebration, I realized that I now faced a whole new challenge. How do I get it here? My wife had told me about uShip so I posted a few of the best prospects that I was watching and got some bids on them. When I won the auction I wanted, I already had three bids on that particular bike. After reading the details of each bid, I chose the one in the middle, as far as price goes. Compared to most of the price quotes that I got from other shippers, it was just about impossible to beat. Quite frankly, I was concerned that I might be sacrificing service for economy. With some reservation, I took the bid and put my bike in the hands of L&N Transit. I have had things shipped to me from all over the country via the post office or UPS, but a four hundred pound motorcycle: Oh we are in a totally different category now! I was rather anxious about the entire process, especially considering that it would be traveling several hundred miles to get here. After I gave the shipper the pickup and delivery addresses over the computer to get the ball rolling, I contacted them by phone to make sure they had all the information they needed. They told me they did and gave me a time projection on both pickup and delivery. Now came the hard part: first, would it arrive at all, and second, would it be in one piece? The answer to both questions was yes! They kept me informed as to my bike's whereabouts from state to state, and just when they said it would, it arrived. It was not only in one piece, it was delivered without a scratch! I really appreciate the care and consideration of L&N Transit and would recommend them to anyone. Thanks uShip, for making this process so easy.
