Recently, I purchased a motorcycle to add to my small but growing collection of vehicles. Money being as tight as it has come to be, I had to shop for the best price. I went and stretched myself a little thin on the purchase of the bike, though it was the best price I could find in the USA. Needless to say, it wasn't next door, or even in my home state! Now, I had to find a way to get it home as inexpensively as possible. Since I spent more than I should have on the bike, I was in a prediciment. With limited funds for shipping, I toyed with the idea of picking it up in person.
For curiosity's sake, I did an internet search for shippers. When I found UShip, I was pleased. All I had to do was list the particulars of the item to be shipped and wait for the best bid! I never get anything done so simply!
After about a week, from the time I listed the motorcycle for shipment, I was ready to accept an offer but decided to wait a day or two longer. Thankfully, I had listed with enough time on it to allow for a good deal of bids from shippers. At the end of that day or two, I got a notice about new bids and when I checked my account, I was extatic! A bid had been placed for shipping which was SO reasonible, I verified the shipping method immediately with the shipper. With questions and concerns asked, answered and put to rest through UShip's contact system, I accepted this bid. My bike was delivered safe, unharmed in any way and on-time as agreed.
I recommend UShip to everyone I talk to these days. I even recommended them to the dealership I bought the motorcycle from as they deal in antique and exotic motor vehicles and many customers are from out-of-state.
I recommend listing your item for shipment with UShip, allowing enough time to ensure the most bids are placed on your shipment.I stress this because bids ranged from about $1200 to as low as $398(which I accepted). Though inexpensive, NOTHING was sacrificed in service.
YOU WIN WITH USHIP!!!
