My brother in law was no longer able to manage his 28' Bayline and so gave it us, problem was we are in Everett, WA and the boat was in Ventura, CA.
I didn't know where to start when it comes to having a 28', 9,000lb boat hauled 1,100 miles and searched wide and far. Not expecting much I joined uShip and listed the job. I had my first bid in 2 days, a very professional member but a bit more money than I wanted to pay. Next day comes a new bid, much lower than the first.
After great back and forth communication about loading and unloading arrangements, low bridges and all sorts of other details I accepted the bid from first time uShip member Wally Barbour.
Wally arranged with my Brother in Law to collect the boat from the Marina in Ventura on Thursday, and Saturday morning here he was at my Marina 1,100 miles further North!
The whole process simply could not have been easier.
