Our goal was to get a very nice but un-needed trundle bed out of our house in Atlanta and to my brother-in-law in Florida. We'd contemplated taking it ourselves but knew scheduling would delay it longer than we would like. Still we had time.
The first responses to the listing seemed high to us and we were thinking it might even be cheaper to take it ourselves. But, we decided to list again. This time we got much better prices and accepted one from Quervo. We were a little nervous about shipping something with a pair of mattresses via an open pick up truck but we received enough specifics about how it would be protected that we decided to go with it.
We accepted over the weekend, set a pick up time for Monday. I called the in-laws that afternoon to make sure they'd be home Tuesday and could help unload. Once confirmed, Quervo was at our door in an hour prepared with tarp and packing blankets. We'd also taken the time to wrap the mattresses in plastic as an extra pre-caution and that helped as well. They had enough material to pack everything separately and securely.
By the next afternoon, we received a call from Florida that the bed had been received and was in good condition and they were excited to have it.
