My husband had recently taken a position working in Washington DC for a year. He needed to move furniture, clothes, academic books, etc. for a studio apartment in DC. We were uncomfortable moving his belongings ourselves therefore we placed an ad with UShip. Right away, we received three bids. FMAN delivery was the "middle" bid. Although I was concerned over some of FMAN's cancellations and comments, I hired them. We placed a call to Tommie (the owner of FMAN Delivery) who quickly set up arrangements to pick up our belongings. Tommie contacted us a day before pickup and a couple hours before pickup to insure everything was in place. I could not believe he did not need directions but he found our house without any trouble and as scheduled. Before Tommie began loading, I questioned him about himself, his business, and some of his comments on UShip. He politely answered and I was completely satisfied with continuing the shipment. From then on, the pick up went smoothly. Tommie treated each box, piece of furniture, bike, etc. as if it were his own belongings. As Tommie left our driveway, I did not have any feelings that the delivery would be anything but superb. My husband was working out of town and was not able to meet FMAN delivery (Tommie) at the apartment building in Washington DC. Therefore it was up to Tommie to contact the apartment manager to get directions and access to the apartment. As the delivery progressed, Tommie kept me informed with every detail. When the delivery was finished, Tommie again called. My husband arrived at the apartment a week later. Every box, piece of furniture, etc. was accounted for and in perfect condition. In conclusion I would like to RECOMMEND FMAN Delivery for any shipments. We of course, will use FMAN Delivery to move my husband home! Thank you to FMAN Delivery, Tommie, and Uship.
