My first experience with uShip has been very satisfying. First, this facility for setting up a shipping bid and advertising it is a spectacular idea! I wish I had thought of it! As a complement to eBay, it is very worthy. I am fairly demanding in my user interface experiences, and this site is great in that regard. Getting transparency has been a problem when I called 800-numbers in the past for auto transport - not here! The feedback system, supported by client comments, links to the listing and a full history of bidding for a particular job left me very comfortable with my choice. I needed to ship a "roller" junk car I bought on eBay from MA to CT, so I did not require the physical security or fancy equipment demanded by a $milllion show car, but I did need a trailer and a reasonable price. I got exactly what I was looking for. dennsxt provided great communications and excellent service. Item was picked up as agreed and delivered right into my driveway as requested - all on the same day! Five bids allowed me to make a reasonably educated decision. The listing process allowed me to accurately describe the job, so that the service supplier dennsxt knew exactly what was required up front - no surprises on either side lead to a pleasant transaction. Obviously, the uShip site offers the service supplier a great service, allowing them to locate opportunities that fit their upcoming itinerary. That has to be a great way to avoid deadhead miles, and allows for lower prices all around. I will most certainly use uShip in the future, and I will be telling anyone interested about my positive experience.
