My mother gave me my parents' 50-year old mahogany bedroom set. However, she lives in Michigan (with the bedroom set) and I live in Seattle. David Heide came to our rescue! I really feared someone might just take the furniture from my mother's and I'd never see it again, but five days after he picked it up, he arrived in Seattle and helped my husband unloaded it all into our house. The furniture was not packed or protected at all before Mr. Heide picked it up, but he took special care of it and it all arrived completely un-damaged. (I've heard horror stories about big shipping companies always damaging items they ship.) I think I got a very good price. A shipping company bid for the bedrails only, just some metal pieces 80" long and wanted to charge $350! Mr. Heide charged a price lower than anything I would have gotten from a big shipper. Most amazing was a mirror 3' x 4' which arrived completely unscathed. Not even a nick. This furniture is very sentimental. My parents bought it when they married 50 years ago and my father has since died. Therefore, I'm very grateful to have their well-loved furniture in my home now. Mr. Heide was very patient and very nice. I can't praise him highly enough. So happy my co-worker told me about uShip!
