A large and bulky thing in inclement weather - It went very well. I had made previous arrangements outside U-Ship that fell through. I was coming from California and moving a trailer across Tennessee. I was in a quandry until I found this site. I found it easy to use, well laid out and very comprehensive.
I bought the trailer from a relatives. I had the good fortune of talking to our provider before the move. I felt very comfortable.
When Jim of CaughronMovers got there, he had to put up with a kazillian questions, advice, and unsolicited help from family - which he did with great patience and courtesy. We asked him to meet us for lunch about 40 minutes down the road so we could see how it was going. HE was waiting for US to get there. It was a driving rain that had my husband and I moving at 20 mph in the fast lane of I-40.
After lunch we followed along behind for a short while, and were impressed that for the length of the trailer, it was like it wasn't even there. We stop for everything from coffee and gas to potty, but we caught up again about 40 min from delivery. We thought he was going the long way but he got there about 5 min after we did.
Jim parked our trailer in the designated tight spot and got it in with one shot. Then he had to put up with my husband's hand signals and nit-picking "two more inches forward, now back". When he was finished, he and his lovely wife lingered to enjoyed the view of the hillsides and chat - like we were family.
There are many more services in the U-Ship site than I realized and I am sure I will be using several of them. I even think we made a friend in our provider. I have recommended U-Ship to everybody I've talked to since the move. I realize every event doesnt go perfect- or even well, but this move unexpectedly gave me great peace of mind. We are so looking forward to our next adventure with Jim and our next event with U-Ship. Many Thanks.
