Like many people, I often see items on eBay that I would like to bid on but feel they would be impossible to obtain due to location. I am skeptical of long-distance transactions for shipments that might seem either too heavy or bulky for shipment. But, I took a chance on a beautiful bookcase in Indiana, even though I live in New York! When I won the bid, the seller suggested I have it shipped via one of those franchise packing companies, PakMail. Their quote was astronomical! I searched on the web for alternatives and happened upon uship. When I saw how easy it was to do this, I was astounded. Within one day of listing, I received 3 quotes, all of them less than the PakMail one. As I felt this might be good to be true, I added some more details about the shipment to the bid and listed it a little longer, making sure the shipper knew the dimensions and conditions of the pick-up and delivery. The next bid was even less than the first 3. I chose this individual and as a result, I have a beautiful bookcase sitting in my living room. Furthermore, I feel I met someone truly interesting. The gentleman who delivered the bookcase travels all over deliverying goods around the country. His stories are priceless. I cannot say enough good things about uship AND I can now keep my eyes open for those large antiques on ebay. I'm thrilled with the results.
