I had been holding on to some of my mothers' possesions for about 5 yrs. here in VA while she was waiting on an opening for an apartment at a retirement community in TX. She finally got her apartment about a year ago and I had told her that I would bring her things to her when I could come for a visit in the near furture. Well, I became ill and could not work so I had no way to transport her things that she needed badly. I checked out the shipping prices of LTL carriers and they were way more than me or my mother could afford, since she lives off Social Security. This is her only means of income. So I went to the internet to search for an alternative means of transporting her things, and that's where I found uShip. Thank you uShip. I told my mother about how we could place a bid on shipping her things. We agreed on a price she could afford and put a bid on it. I received several bids and two of them matched my bid. The first one I received I almost accepted but it didn't work out. Then I received a bid from smalhaulers and promptly accepted it. However I ran into some problems because I was not used to dealing with downpayments to paypal. My bid time almost expired, but smallhaulers kindly extended my cut off time to allow me time to get it straight. I am so happy that smallhaulers handled my moms' goods. Rich is real professional. He did everything exactly as he said he would. The freight was picked up and delivered on time and damage free. He kept me informed daily on his location and even gave my mom and extra day to have eye surgery. What excellent service. I highly recommend using uShip, and if smallhaulers accepts your bid leap on it quickly. You won't be disappointed. Thanks, from Mike B. in VA
