I can't say enough concerning tacks (68)'s effort to get a large, heavy product (Gravely Snowblower) bought on eBay to me. He went out of his way to pick up the product from the seller even though there was no rush to get it here. The distance was 400 miles from the seller to the buyer and was delivered within eight hours of picking it up. The snowblower was in East Hampton, MA and needed to be shipped to Gaithersburg, MD uShip avoided a trip to the airport by the seller and the buyer even though Forward Air would have been even faster uShip made it a little more economical. I would use uShip again especially on equipment like Gravely tractor implements. For those individuals selling items on eBay with a local pick-up it would be smart to announce uShip as an alternative. While it adds to the cost of the product being sold, everyone's time is worth money.
