Here's the story - I just got divorced and moved to Florida. My ex was responsible for shipping my things and - what a surprise - he left out my favorite piece of furniture. It was a mid-century modern credenza that I really loved and it looked great with my dining room set. Well, rather than fight that battle, I decided to find a replacement piece and shopped Ebay until I found the right one. I had carefully chosen one which would be in the same state, so shipping costs would be reasonable. Well, I bid and won; however I didn't realize that the seller wanted $290 to ship it to me. I thought "no problem - I will rent a van and go get it myself." Then I had the horrible realization that I have no friends or family here to jump in a van and help me pick up this 6 foot long, extremely heavy piece of furniture. What could I possibly do? I did a Google search for "furniture shipping" and found Uship. It was easy to put in my requirements and the next morning I had three bids, all within a very reasonable price range. I read the feedback on all and chose one (they all seemed like good choices). Bobby8591 did a great job for me. I confirmed through the "Ask Question" feature with him that he was able to pick up my item within the seller's time frame. I gave him the seller's contact info and took it from there. What a relief to find Uship and Bobby8591! Thanks to you both, I now have a new favorite piece of furniture!
