brought a Dozer rake at a RB auction site.
RB's have a link to Uship.
The interesting thing is that I thought there was a closer working relationship than there actually is.
I assumed that the Link would provide all the item details to the winning transport company.
This isn't the case.
Initially the transport company didn't ask for a signed authorisation, with copy of my ID, as is normal practice when using a third party to transport goods. they didn't ask ,so I didn't provide.
Once this was sorted, and the correct authorisation forms were completed ,they picked up the goods and delivered to the export company.
Its interesting that most transport provider ,want a pallet for the goods to sit on, but cannot seem to provide one, you would think that in the world of internet shopping and that a provider of pallet packing services would be available especially for larger auction sites.
Base line...I know more about shipping from America to Australia and my rake arrived ,with all its pieces and components.
thank you Uship.
