Carrier got shipment of lumber to me quickly but did not have the necessary equipment to remove it from their own truck. I guess they thought the average residence also has forklift services. Had to hire someone to help with unloading which meant additional expense that was unplanned, but shipment was in good shape and was eventually off-loaded into my garage. Beware over-sized shipments when carrier says they have a "lift gate" - the lift gates are usually only 4 feet long and my shipment was eight feet long. Putting it on the lift gate would have risked tipping it over, so fork lift was required at drop off point.
