A Coot is a rather unique articulating amphibious ATV built up until about 1984. I found one in St Petersburg, Florida and needed to get it to Manchester, Tennessee. MasterWrench56 is from Nashville and was vacationing in Florida, so it worked out well for us both - until Dale found out his pickup was 1" or so too narrow for the Coot. No problem, he picked it up a couple of days later with his flatbed & brought it to me. We met at a truck stop since my neighborhood is not the easiest place to get into with a semi. I backed my utility trailer up to the flatbed and found that, like Dales' pickup, my trailer was just a little narrower than the Coot. We got it on there, though, thanks to the articulating body. Left front wheel on the rail of the trailer, right front in the bed. Left rear of the Coot in the trailer bed and right rear up on the rail. I got several curious stares on the way to the house, but once I got there it unloaded without a problem. Thanks, guys for your great service! U-ship and MasterWrench56 made this an easy transaction - a great start to a new adventure restoring this machine and taking it out to play!
