I bought my 1973 Volkswagen Bus in Virginia at the beginning of August. I live in Idaho and decided it would be easier to have it shipped home than try to drive it, considering its an older vehicle I didn't want to try. I looked online for auto shipping companies and found what I thought was a really good deal. I signed up for All Auto Trust Transport (AATT), a commercial auto shipping company, to move the bus for me. I paid a deposit of $200 and waited for the next available truck to pick it up. I waited for weeks and never got a single call back.
After about a month of no action I was fed up and canceled my shipment. The same day I signed up with Uship and within a week received the bid I was looking for. It was only about $100 more than AATT quoted me to move the Bus, and I had it in my driveway within 10 days.
It took me another 2 weeks after Uship delivered to get my deposit back from All Auto Trust Transport.
I like Uship because it gives you the control to contact drivers, not just moving companies. I would use it again if I was moving or ordered something over sized from the internet. Thanks for making my move a little easier.
