We had won a government auction for a lot of 22 containers and accepted a bid from bkguardians to move the shipment. They were a little higher than the rest but their experience and confidence in being able to handle the tight deadline for loading and being able to get the paperwork done to get on base (not an easy task) is what convinced us to accept their bid.
I can't say enough good things about how they handled the paperwork for access to the base. It was my biggest stress and they took a look a the documents and assured us that it was no problem. I was a little skeptical because I myself have had to go back 5 or 6 times because of minor issues or corrections. Due to other factors we were not able to provide a very large window in which to get the paperwork done. The load had to be picked up within a very specific time frame and the paperwork had to be done at least 3 days in advance of the pickup.
Basically they had one chance to get it right.
But they kept in contact with us and were confident that there would not be any issues and they were 100% correct. They picked up the load exactly when they said they would and they got it over to Texas exactly when they said they would.
The driver for that run, Rick, called us several times to provide us with updates as to his progress. We had scheduling issues pop-up at the last second on our end so Rick was able to arrive within a very narrow time window in the evening. He was great in every way and a real pleasure to work with.
My dad, who is getting up there in years, was doing the unloading with a tractor and Rick went way out of his way to help with things that drivers don't usually help with despite the late hour and not so great conditions at the site.
BKGuardians is more than a company, they were like working with friends and family and were there for us in every way possible. In this day and age it is real hard to find people like Kari, Bo, and Rick. They care and it shows.
