I recently moved to North Carolina and had to hire someone to haul my horse over 640 miles from New York down here. Since I was already in North Carolina, I had to rely on leaving my papers, my horse, and any other information with where he was boarding and communicate verbally with the shippers without meeting them at pick up. I finally got everything squared away, and the trailer was heading for where my horse was staying, and my credit card wouldn't go through. What we realized, 10 phone calls later, was that the address that we were using was the wrong one! Talk about a nightmare of a few hours worrying about whether or not I could get my horse. Thankfully we figured it out, got the payment through, and Spinner was good to go down to North Carolina. From then on it was smooth sailing, he was even the superstar of the trailer! In comparison to the unruly stallions he was with, Spinner behaved like a dream, and I got nothing but compliments about his personality and looks. Seems like me horse is a superstar? Since he was trailering down with other horses, my total cost was 50% less than if I had hired someone from down here to go get him. Talk about savings!! Being a recent college graduate, saving money is a high priority. I'd use uShip again if I ever had to transport a horse and wasn't yet able to afford a trailer. Nothing but GREAT experiences so far!
