I left my dad's cedar chest in Spokane at a UPS store. They were going to ship it (full of pics & dad's bible, cards, etc...) for around $300. About 10 days later, I called them as I had not received it yet. They now said they needed to build a crate for it, in order to ship and the price would now be around $500. About 1 week later, I had a message that they could not send it now as it needed to go by freight and the cost was now $1000. Now, I was IRATE. This is like highway robbery and I didn't have a clue of what to do. I had left this after my dad's funeral/memorial service and flew home to central Illinois. Now my cedar chest is stranded in Spokane and it is at least 3 days drive out to get it and 3 days back. I felt like I was being held up by UPS. I got on the internet and started looking for someone headed this way to try to add it to their load and I would pay them, like a moving company and I found UShip. It was the answer to my prayers when I found Brandon. He picked up the chest a few days later in Spokane and we met up this afternoon and transferred it to my SUV and I brought it home. I now have my dad's pictures, old pics of my great grandmother, old family herritage things, stuff that is sentimental to me and my family. I am so grateful to UShip for connecting people needing to ship items and people willing to transport their items. I will use this company and refer this company to all my friends and family.
