I only had 6 days to have a Mercedes S430 picked up from Las Vegas that I had bought at an auction. Since it was short notice I only received 2 bids.
I was lucky since Kelley Automotive had been one of the bidders. Kevin Kelley is an owner/operator with a perfect 100% feedback score & so I chose to accept his bid. It turned out to be the correct decision.
After booking the shipment with him he was in touch with me that afternoon & was able to pick up my car in Vegas the next day after heading down from Salt Lake City. He called me once he had the car loaded on his trailer & went over the car with me on the phone from top to bottom, literally. He looked over the car for dents/scratches, went over the interior, examined things under the hood, made sure the A/C worked & that the car ran & idled properly. He even looked underneath to check for any kind of leaks. How is that for customer service.
He picked up the car on Tuesday 6/30/09 & had it in my driveway without a scratch on Saturday 7/4/09. He also kept me up to date daily by phone on his status & how the car was doing. He even had time to drive from Vegas up to Wyoming to pick up another vehicle before heading down to Texas & still he made it in only 4 days. I was really blown away. I didn't think anyone provided service like that anymore.
If all of that wasn't enough his bid was very reasonable and no more than the other bid I had received.
This was my 2nd time using uShip and while my 1st experience turned out ok this one turned out perfect. Though whether you have a positive or negative experience using uShip really depends on the service provider/bid that you accept so choose wisely.
