I was shipping a photocopier, an autoclave and a suction to a medical missions in Hoduras. The commercial compnaies either would not offer to ship or were charging a huge amount of money.
The first bid from USHIP was very high, in part my description was not clear. Dave asked for clarification and made an offer that was much more reasonable, and then several others came in to compete. As I furthered explained the nature of this shipment, that hundreds of poor and sick will benefit from these items and the missions has a low to no budget, Dave responded so generously. Actually, I did not even have to expound on the details beyond, "medical missions"! Then I was completely new to shipping steps, ie pallets etc. and Dave helped not only to facillitate but the people at the Terminal were very heplful and positive about the shipment.
Not to mention the shipper from Miami to Honduras offerred to provide services to help get these items to these people!
I saved from the first quote to the shipment @$1400.00. Thank You all
