I have a AKC Championship bloodline 14 month old puppy male who has won in dog shows and has 2 points with AKC. He is home to grow up and will return to the dog show ring with his handler to finish his Championship.
I bought a 2 year old female from Illinois, and had UShip bring her to Las Vegas, NV. I did not know this sweet female was abused, I am so lucky to have her. I have had show dogs since the 1970's so I can do wonders with this female, she will be a new dog with in 6 months.
Mike, Mary, and Myself came to the conclussion this dog was abused, because of the following facts. She could not walk on a leash, she would coward on the ground when you put the leash on her, she would shake when you touched her any where, Back, front, head, as well as coward and cry.
My provider Mike/Mary had her 4 days, she feed her, slept with her, cleaned up after her, bought her treats, walked her, gave her that extra love she really needs, got kisses from her was Mary's big reward. Mary was sad to leave her.
This dog is so sweet and young it makes me cry to see her coward and be so scared of a touch.
I took my two weeks vaction just so I could spend time with her, and I am so glad I did, she will need this two weeks to get to know me and her new home.
Mary asked are you going to breed her right away? How sweet of Mary to ask a question like that, it means she cares. No I can not breed for another year until this female is happy at home so she can have happy babies. " WE " care about her and her well being.
It has NOT been 24 hours with her yet and I am allowed to touch her whole body with out her shaking. She will turn her back on me and allow me to pet her every where with out a worry, thats trust on her part. Table Scraps she loves.
Mike and Mary, handled her with tender love and care, not 100% they went out of their way to give this sweetie 200% of their love, when she needs it most. It does not get any better then that.
Thank You So Very Much
