I needed to ship an antique (large 1880s French sideboard) to my brother from my home in Pennsylvania to his in Missouri. I had had a difficult time finding a mover who would handle such a small, single piece shipment and who was set up to appropriately pack and crate this -- and do it at a reasonable price. I was almost going to give up -- then, I did a Google search and found UShip. Through this service, I found AmericanMoving, and after one or two email conversations, the move was set up and everything after that went according to plan, with no hitches. The movers were fast and efficient, blanket and then shrink wrapping the piece in my home with little inconvenience to us, and I understand the sideboard arrived at my brother's home without incident. Pricing was not the least expensive (I got one or two quotes for less), but for an antique such as this, the price was very reasonable, particularly given the amount of TLC required. TI would definitely use both AmericanMoving and UShip again. hank you!
