I needed to get my newly adopted horse trailered to his new home with me. Being un-trained/people-shy,1/2 Draught/paint, and 16.3hh tall, finding someone to do it was nearly impossible. I needed him moved from Shiloh Horse rescue outside of Los Vegas, NV to my boarding barn in Mesa, Az. This horse is a big 10 years old that has had very little contact with humans, none of it good, until lately. He has 3 different saddle bronc hot brands on him and will not let anyone halter or lead him. trailering this big guy, any horse person knows this is no small or easy task to take on and accomplish safely. I couldn’t find anyone who would haul him. Thank goodness for the uship web site! I received a very good price/bid from Steve Best. He had very good equipment and took safety precautions. We all got lucky and the horse did no damage to his property. He says it was because of the traffic and resting/checking on the horse that p/u to drop off, the trip took 12 hours. Upon arival the horse was exhausted but otherwise undamaged. All in all I think Steve did a good job and I would use his service again. I sure appreciated him hauling my horse for me. Not many people would risk hauling such a big semi-wild horse. I am so glad uship was available to me! Otherwise my horse would still be miles away from me and that much further away from becoming the spoiled rotten pet he deserves to be.
