I have a home in Idaho, a spot in Arizona, a motorhome in Texas and I'm stuck in Oregon with a broken down RV, a SUV, trailer full of yard equipment and a cat! Who ya gonna call? USHIP! I'v'e purchased a few vehicles on ebay, so was aware that you can have them shipped but had never used such services. After all, it's the adventure, not the outcome that drives us to do this! Right?
Well, I'm having one now! I listed on UShip because the page was so easy to navigate, and the hints were most helpful. I already had a bid, but listed anyhow. ENTER: Kevin from BigSkyTransport, who really worked to get the price down for me, and then honored his bid in spite of the current fuel price increases. After checking the mfg tag & quoting the weight stated, I was aghast to find out I was 4000 lbs heavier. Kevin just shrugged and make some mods to accomodate my ignorance. As we were both driving the same route/time we had condiderable time to chat and find things in common while having meals and fuel stops. After 2 days, I felt as if I'd made a new friend as we were fighting over the resturant checks and look forward to seeing him again when it's time to rescue the rig in Texas! It is purely by chance that I listed on UShip, but will definitely return when I have the need. I catch myself looking for something to haul when I'm restless now and will no doubt be a USHIPPER as surely as I'm a EBAYER! The real hero in this story is Kevin, whose attitude, disposition, and integrity have been a credit to both himself, and UShip! Without these attributes, this little adventure of mine could not have concluded sucessfully!
Thanks Kevin, and Thank you UShip
