Because I now live in Japan, I decided that my vintage Kawasaki Vulcan, which was in storage in Wyoming, needed a new home and a to be ridden. My daughter and son-in-law in Oregon had just rediscoved the joys of two-wheeling, so I decided to make a gift of the motorcycle. My first shipping contact through uShip seemed reliable, but in the end, he became beligerent and cancelled the shipping, citing scheduling difficulties as the reason, but the difficulties were all his neglegence.
I then relisted the motorcycle and Paul of PDshipping placed a bid. I accepted his bid, and started the process of getting everything arranged for shipping. Paul provided excellent communication throughout the planning and moving process.
While the Vulcan was in transit on Paul's truck, my son-in-law's father passed away, so he had to make an emergency trip to Nebraska for the funeral. Paul was very accomodating and delivered the motorcycle to the house, and allowed delivery to be taken by a friend of the family in Oregon.
I am please with uShip and was able to save between $200 and $400 on moving this bike. A job well done.
