We were in the market for a 2 axle tilt deck trailer, in fact we had money put down on one in Phoenix. This past fall, my partner and myself were up on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon on a job. We came on a fellow from Utah who had this cool trailer. We asked him to demostrate it to us. I jotted down the dealers' name and number in Iowa, and gave them a call when I returned home. In the end, we cancelled the trailer in Phoenix, and made a deal on this unit in Iowa.
The only sticking point was going to be the shipping. In Febuary, when the trailer was finished we had to start figuring ways to get it to Arizona. Between going halfway to meet the dealer, to hoping a relative with a pick-up truck was heading out west; we had exhausted all ideas.
I happened on this site after searching for "Hot Shot loads" thinking I might find a camptrailer hauler or something like that to get the thing out to Arizona. I found Uship.com; and while skeptical I placed the ad. Amazing!! I had 6 responses or "bids" with in 3 days. I was able to ask questions, and cull through the ones which were higher then we wanted to pay. I was pretty sure I could find someone who was empty going west, and wouldn't mind yanking our trailer to us.
After going back and forth with these guys; we decided to go with Jeff at JDLMotorsports. He was knowledgable, timely, and even delivered on a weekend.
So for those, who may be in a similar bind as we were; I reccomend Uship.com without hesitation. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
