Taylor Welty went above and beyond with the great price and service provided. Picking us up at the airport and showing us the HOT spots and the excellent shortcuts using the park roads and the scenic A1A of Daytona for Bike week 2008 were Priceless. I'm going to need a lot of referal cards as everyone is asking where we had such a great deal with price and service from U-ship and Taylor Welty,
Thanks team from the five of us.
We had record snow up in Wisconsin and had to get the plows out for Taylor to get in and pickup the bikes, he was great when a last minute biker want to come and he was able to accommodate the five of us. Taylor has a storage area at Daytona, FL but he went above and beyond by delivering right to the Resort along with our luggage he hauled down. Then he offers to pick us all up at the Airport and show us around town like a tour guide. There are bikes were at the resort ready and able to go.
Off we went up coast AIA north to Betty's for Seafood and on to Flagler Beach which became a good spot to cruise over on Hwy 100 to the BIG bike shop and expo or even take the backroads thru the parks and plantation areas. Downtown Daytona is an experience and the shortcuts provided saved alot of time getting to Crabby Joe's on the pier for seafood and over to Lollipops (XXX) for a rainy night retreat. Or down to Ocean Center for the very enteraining bike exhibits put on by Harley Davidson and the H.O.G.
Another great areas to checkout is south of Daytona near the Spacecenter is the preserve around it Merrit Island area where manitese, pink flanigos and a few righteous alligators can be observed. Cocoa Beach for a Ron Jon's t-shirt is nice getaway.
If you happen to get caught in the rain the bikini bike wash at C.J.'s bar on Hwy 1 downtown is the place, ask for Heidi!!! Where while your getting a good wash for the price you can enjoy a burger and a beer while you observe the art of how to really get a good clean bike... Thank You
