I recently purchased a '94 Acura NSX engine to replace a motor that I had inadvertantly (read: NO OIL!) blown up. Finding a replacement engine was both costly and time consuming. I finally found a donor on the other side of the USA and needed o ship it to my shop. Obviously, the value and sensitivity of this product is extremely high.
I was told by the owner of the engine that she had used U-Ship in the past with great success. After posting my shipment, U-Ship quickly came back with a quote that was well withing reason for the item I was shipping. After a few phone calls, everthing was set and the shipment was to be picked up of within days!
Only problem was, we weren't ready yet! When they went to pick up the engine, it hadn't been crated yet. They said, "OK, no problem." The shipper returned a couple of days later to give us some time to get it ready. Once on the truck, it was delivered across the country within a week.
The point here is I didn't get what I paid for. I could have been charged MUCH more for this type of service. I'm very happy with how the delivery went and will use U-Ship again.
