We live in Aurora, CO.. We moved from Denver because they outlaw pit bulls. After being in Aurora they did the same thing but, did grandfather the currant pit bulls as long as you jumped through their hoops. This consisted of having her spayed, computer chip in her, $100,000.00 ($767.00 yearly)worth of liability insurance & $200.00(yearly) restricted breed license. We of course did all of these but, this year they surprised us with a new registration fee $100.00 & failed to let us know about. So, the minute this $100.00 license expired it voided everything we done to be able to keep our family pet & we were forced to have her gone in 24 hours from her home or they would come take & destroy her & fine us a minimum fine of $700.00. The though of them destroying a loving dog was unbearable. We began looking for a way to get her to family in North Carolina.(Somebody we could trust wouldn't let Maggie become what the government believes all pit bulls are, "VISCOUS!") We started with airlines & were getting bids from $1000.00 to $2700.00. Which of course we would have paid but, then I heard from Tom. An answer to our prayers. Tom was willing to pick her up from our door & delivery her to my brothers door in North Carolina for $350.00.(True proof God answers prayers) Beside ourselves we accepted instantly. Tom showed up Maggie of course uneasy & he didn't care. Threw her pillow in the back & with tear filled eye's said goodbye to our Maggie. Tom saved us having to worry about Maggie being put to sleep under a plane & showing up to people she didn't know. Instead I hear she took over shotgun & was well taken care. I hear Tom's wife even got a little attached on the day layover at Tom home. To her finial destination where our Maggie has a big loving family to take care of her unit we move down in April. Tom you are a wonderful person & we cannot thank you enough. You have left footprints on our hearts. God Bless! If we ever find somebody that needs you, you will know!THANKU
