I received my parents piano when they were down sizing to a different house. My 83 year old father kept insisting he could deliver it to my house in his pickup. I didn't want him driving to the cities and trying to help unload it. He didn't have straps or anything to secure the piano. I told him that I arranged to have it delivered. He still said he could save me money and do it himself. Finally he realized he didn't have to worry about getting it up to my house and was glad I was having it delivered.
I looked in the yellow pages on the internet to find piano movers. As I was checking out locations of movers, I ran across uship. I decided to put my item up for estimates. aaapianoservice came back with a bid I couldn't refuse. It was a lot less than what I was expecting to pay. They also had excellent references and no one had a bad experience with them. I've never done anything over the internet like this, but I took my chance and accepted Steve's bid from aaapianoservice. He kept in constant communication with me, witch I liked. He was very nice and fun to deal with. Since they only move pianos, I felt very comfortable in dealing with him. I would certainly use uship again. I like that fact you get to see references. I know if anyone had a bad experience, they would write that down.
