This was my first experience with UShip, so I went into it with a little hesitation, but I was hopeful for a good outcome, and that is exactly what I got. I turned to this site to haul a horse I had purchased from Virginia to Pennsylvania. I got bids from several haulers, at first I had picked another hauler, since their bid was a bit lower, but we ended up having a scheduling conflict so I turned to UShip again for rebids. I contacted
"HaulinHorses" since they were my 2nd pick.
They had the 2nd lowest bid and I liked their profile. I wanted to make sure I was comfortable with who was hauling the new addition to my family, even if it ment paying extra. I mentioned to them only reason I did not choose them in the beginning was I had already accepted another bid from a hauler that was similar to them but just a bit lower in price. So HaulinHorses rebid the route and came down $50.00 in price. I was very surprised and just impressed that they would do that. I accepted their bid and we began communicating through email. I was very specific about when I wanted my new horse to be picked up and arrive(due to time conficts with the previous owners and my schedule) and they were able to accomodate me with no problem. When they arrived with my horse, they were so kind and friendly, I felt like I was talking someone I already knew. They made sure my horse had food and water and was safe for the entire trip. They were so sweet in commenting about how good my new horse was and what a joy she was to trailer. The money transaction went smoothly, they wished me good luck with my new horse and went on their way. The entire experence was perfect from start to finish. Even the previous owners said how friendly they were and they were at ease knowing the horse would be well taken care of. So in the end I got the best price, the friendlist people and peace of mind that my new horse was in the best hands. I would definetly use them again and plan on recomending them to everyone I know.
