Since we purchased our 6000 gallon, 18000 pound, 40 foot long steel LP tank, we have spent a LOT of time trying to find someone to move it. It is certainly not your typical payload, but an item that we needed to help us make what we believe may be the biggest homemade air compressor in the world. We're not making it for the purpose of being the biggest in the world, but because we need a lot of compressed air for our operation, and don't want to listen to air compressor motors running all the time.
Well, after almost 7 months, we finally were able to connect with Tommy through UShip.com and he completed the task after some aggravation that was beyond his or our control, but he stuck true to his word and completed the project.
Due to the complexity of the move, I believe the price we paid was fair, but not a steal. Without Tommy's help, it would still be sitting in its original location, so I can't complain.
I would anticipate using uShip again down the road, and probably more than one time. The concept is great, and relatively painless. I'm glad this move is behind me and we can move on to bigger and better things.
