I could not believe the help and support I recieved from uShip, shipper, erie3, with this shipment.
I had listed this chair on eBay, no less than, 3 times in the past year, all with out so much as one bid.
Determined to sell this chair, I started lowering my price on it. In the end, I lowered the price and shipping to rock bottom. Still not expecting it to sell but praying that it would, & it did.
At this point my head started spinning I had no clue how I was going to get this chair from Florida to Buffalo, New York! I explored rates from several of the larger shipping companies, all of which were very close to being higher than my actual profit! That is when I found uShip. I received a bid from erie3 the first day I listed the shipment for bids. I declined the first bid, as it was still a bit out of my price range. Erie3 came back with a bid that was right on the money. Bingo-Bango, we had a match and all the wheels were in motion, so to speak.
Shortly after I accepted the bid Gary called to make the pick up arrangements. I told him I needed a couple of days to finish getting the chair ready for shippment. He then explaind to me how he had always had better luck by not crating the wheelchairs and instead quilt it, bubble wrap it and tape it to the inside wall of the truck. This idea was a true God-send that went way beyond helping me stay within my budget! He had no idea that my husband was working 7 days a week and he also didn't know that I am in a wheelchair myself, he just offered this extra help because that is who they are and what they do! They even picked it up on a Sunday!
This level of professionalism and courtesy was maintained through out the entire shipment.
My buyer was, also, very pleased when the chair arrived without a scratch and a day ahead of schedule.
A huge thanks and admiration to uShip and erie3 for the high quality serivces you provide. From now on, you will be the first place I look for a shipper.
