I found exactly what I was looking for on ebay. The problem was that the antique oak icebox was for "local pick-up" only in California and I was in Texas. I was disappointed but not giving up. A transport company recommended by the seller quoted $750. Blindly, I logged onto UShip which I had only vaguely heard about through other ebay users. I put in my ridiculous price of no more than $200 and immediately got two bids. One promptly canceled and I was left with Mike at Mountain Transport. How lucky was I!!! He was perfect from beginning to end. He kept me well-informed and was "on target" with his estimated delivery time. My items arrived in perfect, well-cared for condition. He even put on new casters when one broke while the icebox was being moved. WOW! I will definitely call Mike again.
