Bought a hood off of ebay for my old car for $9. Realized that driving down, picking it up and driving it to the restoration shop would have cost me $200 in gas alone, not to mention my time.
Placed an add on Uship. Had a hit within one day. Cost $150. From anxcaya.
Hood was at a residence in a rural location. Driver actually called the seller several times trying to set up the pickup. Eventually made it work, with little to no requirements of me.
A few days later the hood showed up at the restoration shop in the same condition it left the seller's residence. Very pleased with the service and cost.
If I had bought a hood from a junk yard down South the cost of the hood would have been $200, the shipping would have been $200. Ended up saving on both.
