More like 2500 miles actually, but who's counting :-) Well, how to begin this story?... Back in the dawn of the paleozoic, when I was a young Navy man I owned a W2 650 Kawasaki vertical twin motorcycle. It was an exceptional ride - great seating position, great feel, great sound... just a great ride all around. I was very unhappy to give it up when I finally had to but life rolls on , you have and raise a family and there are enough responsibilities in one life that you don't have much time to think about the losses. Finally the time and the resources came back around. A few months back the planets lined up and there was a W1 650 Kawasaki on eBay with my name on it. In the finest traditions of eBay (at least according to their latest slogan) I "shopped victoriously!" and the adventure began again! I have started a blog at to chronicle my adventures with the restoration of this motorcycle and the chronicles will show that I had a great experience with uShip in general and John Magada in particular. When the first shipper I chose couldn't carry through on his side of the deal I was able to quickly and effectively cancel my arrangements with him and request a rebid from John and, as they say, the rest if history. John was the right man for the job. He was where he was supposed to be when he was supposed to be every step of the way and delivered as agreed. We rewarded his great attitude and effort with one of our personally prepared top drawer BBQ dinners ... and his money. I don't really think he'd have left without the money although the BBQ was having a definite benevolent effect. In summary, alls well that ends well and I can't imagine it ending any other way with John Magada & uShip!
