I won an auction on eBay of a trailer I had been wanting for my family for a long time. The only problem is that I'm in Utah.....and the trailer was in Ohio. I looked at several ways to get the trailer home, but none of them was economical enough for me. I stumbled on uShip while googling vehicle transporters. With nothing to lose, I went through the simple steps to post my vehicle and my target price, again not really expecting anything. Within minutes!!!....I was receiving bids to haul my travel over 1700 miles. The greatest thing was that once someone put up a bid, someone else who wanted to job even more would bid it even lower!! This went on for a day or two when I finally selected my transporter. I didn't choose him because he was the lowest. I chose him by the feedback that he had received. We spoke several times prior to him picking up my trailer and then kept in constant contact over the next three days. He would check in with a phone call or email and just give me status reports as to where he was, what kind of weather he was encountering and how the trailer was. He even paid a night clerk at one of the motels he stayed at to keep an eye on my trailer over night!! This has been a wonderful experience and I am kicking myself that I didn't think of this first. Whoever came up with the business model for uShip should be commended. It fills a need that ordinary people can use, save money and feel comfortable with the outcome. The rebate is incredible also, I will be receiving $50 for completing my transaction. Who can ask for anything more?
