I came here looking for help to ship a mattress and box from New York (a bed company) to Toronto (Canada)

Unfortunately the shipment was pushed a couple of days later due to an unfortunate road accident. Nothing serious but the shipment had to then be rescheduled. However the client absolutely needed the delivery made before his departure and therefore decided to make alternative arrangements. We kept in constant contact with the client running up to the shipment.He was extremely patient and understanding but couldnt do otherwise. We offered the client a reduced rate of 50% due to late delivery but

After communicating directly, I am not comfortable with this service provider A few things troubled me in this contract.They gave me the wrong # and I didn't find out until I tried to coordinate the pickup.They say they kept in constant contact with me and I say that I had initiate contact to find out what was happening.They sent me an email at 9 pm the night before delivery to tell me they expected a 25% etransfer fee or no delivery. He was expected to leave at 6:30 am for toronto for the delivery but he was dropping his kid at school and had an accident at that time ? Response from nmarteau: I believe this is a completely unjust comment. We sent several emails constantly - copies can be provided of all communication. The number provided was correct, it was for the directrice of the company which had a detailed voicemail with the correct name. We offered a discount of 50% for the delay due to the accident. We had asked previously for the 25% deposit but still hadnt recieved it the night before so sent another request. We pick up and returned the mattress at no cost to the client.

It was a great experience to work with Dustin on this project. He was always available for feedback and coordinating the successful delivery across the border to Toronto in Canada. I wish him well in his future projects and gladly recommend him to other customers.
