It takes a person with a lot of know-how to ensure it all works together smoothly, seamlessly, and securely.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s why we&#8217;re excited to\u00a0welcome Kris Lamb to the team as uShip&#8217;s Chief Technology Officer.<\/p>\n<h2>Kris Lamb, uShip CTO<\/h2>\n<p>Kris is a long-time enterprise technology executive who brings more than 15 years of leadership experience in engineering, product management, enterprise software, security, cloud\/hosting, SMB, and mobility at both public and private companies. He previously served as vice president and general manager of cloud security at Austin-based Forcepoint.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKris has an incredible track record as a transformational technology leader, a successful recruiter of top-notch engineering teams, and one who knows what it takes to build and scale innovation at the highest level,\u201d said Mike Williams, CEO of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uship.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">uShip<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith logistics technology evolving at lightning speed, Kris is the right person to drive uShip\u2019s innovation forward as we continue to push the envelope and deliver first of its kind digital freight matching for people, businesses, and enterprises,\u201d Mike said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat made the uShip CTO role so attractive is the opportunity to join an organization with a renowned company culture and that\u2019s truly upending logistics, an industry that\u2019s ripe for transformation,\u201d said Kris.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve always looked for opportunities to establish, lead, and grow product and engineering teams that truly turn heads. uShip is exactly that kind of opportunity. That\u2019s incredibly exciting to me,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Before Forcepoint, Lamb was VP of Engineering at Bastille Networks and held leadership positions at Arbor Networks (where he was CTO), IBM, and Internet Security Systems.
