The Golden State Warriors all-star guard is considered one of the NBA\u2019s most deadly three-point shooters of all time, ranking No. 4 on NBA.com<\/a> after just seven seasons in the league. He\u2019s currently having the best season of his career.<\/p>\n But when his charitable organization \u2013 the Thompson Family Foundation \u2013 was faced with getting 1200 lbs of donated toys nearly 400 miles from Southern California to Oakland, it was a distance that required a little help \u2013 even by Klay\u2019s standards.<\/p>\n It listed three pallets of toys on uShip.com\/freight<\/a>, a single place online to get instant shipping rates from national and regional less-than-truckload carriers.<\/p>\n From the list of displayed providers, the Foundation selected UPS Freight to make the delivery on Dec. 12 to the Klay Thompson Charity Toy Drive being held at the Futures Elementary School gymnasium in Oakland.<\/p>\n \u201cuShip<\/a> went above and beyond to make sure all the toys were delivered on time. The entire process was easy for me and my Foundation,\u201d said Klay. \u201cThere\u2019s nothing better than seeing the kids\u2019 eyes light up when they receive gift, and uShip helped make that happen.\u201d<\/p>\n He recently donated $75,000 \u2013 \u00a0$1,000 for every point he scored during a three-game stint in October \u2013 to help victims of wildfires that ravaged parts of Northern California.
