Over the last year, our team sat down with a wide cross-section of providers to solicit direct input and feedback.<\/p>\n<p>In the months leading up to the rollout, we also applied additional feedback from providers who accessed the Find Shipments beta version.<\/p>\n<p>Learn about the new Find Shipments in this 2:00 video.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"uShip Provider Tips: Find Shipments\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/cHBr11lE4Zw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Before diving in, here\u2019s a summary of improvements and new features on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uship.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">uShip<\/a>:<\/p>\n<h2>MORE THAN A PRETTY FACELIFT<\/h2>\n<p>Find Shipments has not only been redesigned with a fresh new look, it also includes several bonus features, has more intuitive navigation, and is now responsive, meaning it automatically adapts to your device, whether you&#8217;re on a desktop, tablet, or smartphone.<\/p>\n<h2>\nLOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION<\/h2>\n<p>We\u2019ve made it easier and faster to<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uship.com\/learn\/carriers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> find local shipments by setting your Find Shipments page<\/a> to default to listings in your area.<\/p>\n<p>Your default search will be by state for U.S. listings, and country for non-U.S. listings. To enable this feature, be sure to share your location when your browser requests it.<\/p>\n<p>Autocomplete displays suggestions as you start typing a zip code, city, state, or country. Click your preferred suggestion to see relevant listings on the right.<\/p>\n<p>A new radius slider replaces the previous radius dropdown, making it easier to search a range of miles within your desired pickup and delivery locations.<\/p>\n<p>Use our advanced multipoint location search tool to find shipments going from multiple regions to multiple regions (e.g., multiple states on the West coast to multiple states in the Northeast). This makes it easier to explore a variety of routes for your trip or fill multiple trucks.<\/p>\n<h2>EXPANDABLE FILTERS, SIMPLIFIED SORTING<\/h2>\n<p>Several existing filters \u2013 Category, Pricing, Location Type, and more \u2013 have been refined, and two additional filters \u2013 Date and Weight \u2013 have been added, helping you more efficiently narrow your search.\u00a0Easily review or remove your current filters at the top of your screen using new filter shortcuts.<\/p>\n<p>Once you&#8217;ve locked in your search criteria, simplified sorting options provide more information at a glance so it&#8217;s faster and easier to identify your preferred listings. Sort options include:<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Recently Listed<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Listing Expiration<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Number of Quotes0<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Quote\/Offer Price<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Total Distance<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>To store a particular search for later use, you can save a search. This time-saving feature continues to be a favorite among service providers who can easily keep track of new shipments that pop up along a particular saved lane or route.<\/p>\n<p>Important note on saved searches: If you have existing saved searches from the old Find Shipments, you will need to reset those now that the new Find Shipments has officially launched. Also, we\u2019ve discontinued the daily digest of saved searches, meaning you\u2019ll be instantly alerted by email when a new shipment that meets your criteria is posted to uShip.<\/p>\n<p>If you choose to unsubscribe \/ turn off instant alerts via email, go to your Communications Preferences, then Tools. Uncheck the instant alert box. Click Save Preferences.<\/p>\n<h2>HOW &amp; WHERE YOU WANT IT<\/h2>\n<p>There are three ways to view your search results on uShip: list, table, or map. It really comes down to user preference so experiment with each.<\/p>\n<p>If you create a new search through the map, use the plus or minus buttons to zoom in or out and then click Redo Search in Map. This will create a new search within the selected area. Click on pins and clusters to view shipment summaries.<\/p>\n<h3>FIND SHIPMENTS, MY QUOTES, &amp; MY SHIPMENTS &#8211; ALL UP TOP<\/h3>\n<p>We\u2019ve made one key cosmetic change that will help providers more easily monitor and track their current activity.
