uShip + Veterans Day<\/h2>\n

uShip proudly works alongside more than 2,000 of our nation\u2019s veterans. Here we take a moment to honor a few who are connected to the uShip family in various ways. In 2021, veterans owned approximately 304,823 employer businesses\u2014about 5.4% of the 5.68 million U.S. businesses with at least one paid employee, according to the U.S. Census Bureau\u2019s 2022 Annual Business Survey<\/a>.<\/p>\n

We thank each and every one of our military service members for their service to this country, not only today, but everyday.<\/p>\n

Meet Mary Ellen<\/h2>\n

\"Mary
\nMary Ellen graduated from LSU in 2010 and joined the U.S. Army in 2012, before making her way to uShip in 2014 and joining our team as a Commercial Sales Representative.<\/p>\n

Currently, Mary Ellen is on active duty service to our country and the uShip team in looking forward to her safe return.<\/p>\n

Meet Bud Holtfort<\/h2>\n

Bud is a retired Senior Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force. He joined the uShip team back in 2014 and is currently the Senior Manager of Human Resources.<\/p>\n

Meet Brenda Lopez (left) and SCM Leveda McCardell (right)<\/p>\n

Lopez and McCardell are currently serving in the Texas Army National Guard at Camp Mabry, here in Austin, Texas.<\/p>\n

Meet Vic Bullard<\/h2>\n

After retiring from the U.S. Army as a Specialist-Retired E-4, Vic came to join the uShip team as our current Helpdesk Manager.<\/p>\n

Meet Colton Lichty<\/h2>\n

\"Colton<\/p>\n

Lichty\u00a0is a\u00a0retired SSG Staff Sergeant\u00a0in the U.S. Army.<\/p>\n

Meet Jerry Jameson<\/h2>\n

\"Jerry<\/p>\n

Jameson is a Private in the U.S. Marine Corps and a current uShip transporter, known as Mtn.\u00a0Shippers.
