Bid placed 11/18/2010 10:47 AM CST
Expires 12/16 10:47 AM
Hi Liam,
Following on from our emails last week when you rebid to £470, I have asked my brother to go into the attic and assess the amount of stuff to be transported. It seems that I overestimated the quantity. He thinks that the current amount would fit into my parents people carrier if the seats were put down (minus the bike and coffee table). There are about 9large boxes so far. If we get everything on our wedding list to transport as well this would only be enough to fill a normal transit van (or less - including the bike which is still tbc).
So I think I was a bit too quick to say that we'd need a whole van. He works with transit vans part time at the moment and says that at the moment we'd not fill half a luton van if it was stacked properly.
It's up to you but I wanted to know if the original bid would stand? Do let me know as I'm keen to book something this week.
Also, is your price inclusive of VAT? You didn't mention VAT before so I deemed it inclusive.
Ho

hi naomi yes the bid still stands and is inclusive of vat.kind regards liam
Hi
That's fine, just wanted to check.
We are nearly ready to accept your bid. However, I have one last question - does your insurance cover crystalware or glassware? we have been told that hardly any transit insurances do cover these. In any case we have crystal wine glasses that are in an inadequate box at the moment - just cardboard dividers as it came from the shop, your white glove service would mean that we could leave these and you would wrap - correct? let me know. Re. desposit/ payment - how much would you like by way of deposit, do you have any set payment structure i.e. dates.

Hi
Thanks for your bid.
A few questions:
1. If the quantities increase or decrease will you amend your bid accordingly? I think I have been over estimating the amount of boxes I will have to be honest. But I definitely have about 20 boxes, all either medium or large (the next of tables, lamps and mirrors are boxed.
2. Do you have insurance so that if anything breaks we can claim the cost back? There will be crystal glasses etc and a lot of breakable items.
3. I see it says you will collect 2 days after booking, I don't want this, I want to book and pay now but to have the goods arrive with me on Friday 21st January definitely. I have to take time of work to take delivery you see.
4. A lot of the goods have been boxed by my parents and I. I note you offer white glove service - If the goods are already box when you pick up do you still unpack?
5. I just want you to bear in mind two things to ensure that the quote you gave me is correct - 1. the area we live is per
hi naomi firstly i didnt realise from the listing it was so much this is a dedicated trip so the cost would definetly be more because you have to pay the whole cost.secondly, i am fully insured GIT andCBR UP TO £25,000 BUT I HAVE TO LIST INDIVIDUAL ITEMS OVER£350 [MAX. OF 12] and get clearance [down to me].thirdly that isnt a problem with delivery and unpacking but what date can we have access to pick up? as for the permit only that isnt a problem because we have plenty of time to get one sorted for the day. i hope this helps you and im afraid i would have to re-bid if you are interested please let me know asap. kind regards liam
Pick up isn't a problem as it is from my parents house in Belfast. My mum only works part time in the morning so as long as we organise a day she can do it. She is off work on Thursdays so Thursday 20th is ideal. She can arrange to be at home on Wed 19th if necessary.
Individual items shouldn't be over £350. Most are worth £150 each of the expensive glasses or crockery. So your insurance shouldn't be a problem. The bike is old and isn't worth much.
Could you re-evaluate your bid or resubmit please?
Many thanks, much appreciated.
Naomi Andrews
hi naomi yes that sounds about right maybe pick up would be better on the wednesday 19th taking into account ferry times and travelling and possibly bad weather. i will bid again but it wont be a lot of difference once again many thanks liam

Hi there
Answers are as follows
COLLECTION IS AVAILABLE AT THE TIME STATED JANUARY with the deliver to suit you. As the delivery address requires a permit then this will need to be arranged with the local authority prior to our arrival.
we have insurance however if the items are not Checked prior to loading we will mark all items that are boxed will be marked unchecked and this will reflect in the insurance claim should there be one we can arrange due to the time it can take and the van is booked for 1 hr to unload only.As for unpacking but i may require an additional cost
