Welcome to uShip - you now have access to thousands of customers looking for the services you provide. uShip is a little different from your standard load boards, so we've put together this guide to help you get started.

The Find Shipments page is your main tool to use when searching for available loads to bid on. This guide will help you narrow your search so you can quickly find the shipments you are most interested in.

Getting there
You can always get to Find Shipments by clicking "Find & Bid" at the top of any page or by going to www.uship.com/find.

Choosing a category:
You will find various shipment categories and the number of available shipments in each on the left-hand side of the page.

  • Select the categories of shipments you would like to view using the check boxes to the left. After a few seconds, the non-selected categories will be hidden – click “View more” below the category filters to show these other categories again.
  • To view all categories, click “clear” at the top of the category filters.
  • You can expand each category to see more specific subcategories by clicking on the plus sign (+) to the right of the category name.
  • Search results will update instantly as you adjust these filters.

Searching by location:
You can narrow your search by location using the origin and destination searches on the left-hand side of the page and the Map View at the top.

  • State search - Use the state maps to search from state to state.
  • City/Route Search - Enter a city, state or ZIP code for both origin and destination to perform an “Along a Route” search.
  • International Search - You can use the “All” tab to search anywhere in the world.
  • Mix and Match - You can combine different types of searches for more advanced results. For example, if you enter “Chicago” for the origin using the City search, and then use the State search to select only Washington, Oregon and California for the destination, you will see all shipments beginning near Chicago and ending on the west coast.
  • Map Filter - You can expand the map view at the top of the screen to view results and filter by the map area. You can also use “Zoom to area” to search for a specific area on the map.

Saving a search:
You can save time the next time you are looking for loads by saving your search. Simply click the “Save This Search” link in the upper-right corner of the page. You will have a couple of additional options:

  • Email daily - Choose this option to receive daily emails with new and updated listings matching your search criteria.
  • Default search - Choose this option if you would like this search to be the first thing you see the next time you return to Find Shipments.
