Once you've found a shipment that you'd like to service using Find Shipments, you should bid on that shipment. Bidding is easy and allows you to compete with other uShip members for that shipment.
Review the shipment listing, including specific dates and instructions to verify you can service the shipment.
Scroll to the bottom of the shipment listing to the "Ready to Place a Bid?" area (if you are prompted to login, do so now)
Fill out the bid details including: Transport: Mode & Service Type, Shipment Timeframe, Additional Information, and Bid Options.
Tip: Your bid is a "flat-fee, binding estimate" to provide the services described in this listing. If you have any questions about the nature of the services required or the expectations of the customer, post a question for the customer before bidding.
The shipping customer will be notified of your bid and ask questions, accept, or decline your bid.
If your bid is accepted, you will receive direct contact info for the customer as well as pick-up and delivery contact info and addresses.
If your bid is accepted, uShip will collect a deposit from the customer in the amount of your uShip fee and credit that amount to your account, which will offset your match fee.
If your bid is declined, you will receive an email explaining the reason the shipped did not accept the bid. You are free to rebid on the shipment, if you want.
