Question: Hello Shipper, What are your target dates for this move? What is your target price? We charge $175/foot of floor space taken up in our trailer: 20 feet = $3,500. We can make this happen for $3,350. Pick up would be between the 28th and the 2nd with delivery in 3-10 days. This price includes loading/unloading, blanket/saran wrapping the bookshelves, along with full insurance coverage. Let me know if this works for you so I can place my formal bid and reserve the space in our trailer. Thank you, Michael Frear. (2/14/2009)

Response: Hello Michael, That time frame and price structure sound about right. If we go ahead and commit, I will give you as much advance notice as possible, of course. Today there is a break in our rain, and I think I can post a picture of the load to the listing. The vast bulk of the load is the black bags, which can just be set in place and do not need further wrapping, by the way. Any further questions, please do ask. Thank you! Virginia (2/14/2009)

Response: Hello Shipper, I will place my bid and lock this in. Once you accept my bid, you will receive my contact information and we can go from there with the further details. I look forward to working with you! Michael Frear. (2/14/2009)

Response: Excellent, and thanks! I look forward to your bid. Virginia (2/14/2009)

Response: Virginia, Our Bid is placed below. I am a former Marine and I live up to my Company name "Semper Fi Haulers" - Always Faithful. Go ahead and accept. I look forward to working with you! Thank you, Michael. (2/14/2009)

Response: Hi Michael, I want to make sure you see today's update of the listing. We finally completed the purchase -- bought a lot less (none of the needlework stuff), and I have changed the listing to reflect that. Thanks for your patience. Virginia (2/24/2009)

Question: Hello Shipper, how is everything coming? Please get back to me to let me know so we can make plans.
Thank You,
Michael Frear (2/23/2009)

Response: Hello! Late yesterday, we finally got our purchase done. Here's the new smaller list, and we would like to ship ASAP. Thanks for your patience. Virginia

• Approximately 240 garbage bags of first-quality hand-knitting yarn. These each weigh 15 to 20 lbs.
• More yarn: 3 totes, 1 basket, 5 bins, 10 cardboard cartons, and 1 loose bin with crochet thread
• “Shoeboxes” filled with yarn – about 50. These are plastic and can be over- wrapped or set into larger cartons.
NEEDLES AND NOTIONS:
• Two totes of needles
• One tote of notions
• Buttons: 1 basket, 4 wire displays, 1 wood display
OTHER:
• 3 adjustable wooden bookshelves five feet high
• 1 adjustable wooden bookshelf three feet high
• Seven kits (little boxes)
• One carton of model sweaters
• One white spinner rack (unopened)
PATTERNS:
• Boxed patterns – about seven cartons. These could be packed into the empty file cabinets for shipping.
• Two empty file cabinets
• Three filled file cabinets (2/24/2009)

Response: Virginia, Based on your new inventory list, we can pick up between the 1st and 5th for $2,875. If this works for you let me know and I'll place my bid and reserve the space in our trailer. Thank you, Michael Frear. (2/24/2009)

Response: Sounds good, Michael. Thank you. Virginia (2/25/2009)

Question: Hi Virginia,
What are the aprox. dimensions of the bags of yarn. Are all 240 the same? Are they like the large black contractor bags found at Home Depot?
Thanks,
Doug (2/24/2009)

Response: Hello Doug, yesterday we tried to evaluate this. The largest one -- just one -- we could find weighed 35 lbs and was like the size of a very large exercise ball. We found one or two that were 25 lbs -- just a bit smaller. But the vast majority are 15 to 20 pounds, more like a regular exercise ball or two full bags of groceries. The bags are pretty substantial and not prone to tearing, but I am not sure if they are known as "contractor" bags. They are the size of full household garbage bags, let's say 20" x 20" x 20" when full, or 24x24x24 at the most. The yarn is not particularly dense. I think a man "might" even pick up two at once.
If you are in the area and want to see the material, I would be glad to meet you there to show you. (2/24/2009)

Response: So I understand correctly, everything you are shipping is in a storage area 10 feet wide by 10 feet long and stacked 6 feet high? (2/24/2009)

Response: Actually, the storage unit is a 10 x 20, and the ceiling is high, but it is about half full. The bags are set into the back. Because they are soft, they slope. I estimated the height of everything at 6 feet if you squared it all up.
Are you nearby? Should I try to show you this?
(2/24/2009)

Response: That clears thing up nicely. I'd love to see it but I'm still on the East coast (will be leaving this weekend).
I'll work up a price for you and I'll look into getting pallets ease loading/unloading.
Thanks,
Doug (2/25/2009)

Response: OK, thanks. Virginia (2/25/2009)
