Response: I am just in the final negotiations - are you not staying in the area for long... Might be later in the week before I'm ready to have it picked up. Do you usually transport boats "unwrapped". I was trying to look into getting the boat shrink-wrapped to protect it from any damage along the way. As well, thinking that the destination might be detroit where I will meet to pick up the boat - do you have a quote for that distance? (5/5/2008)

Response: I guess you're trying to get everyone to raise the price for hauling of a boat, but that really isn't what this open forum bidding system is really all about now is it? - everyone has their own reasons for what they will haul a load for - not what you think is the required amount, but works for them - perhaps backhauling to cover expenses to the next job. I understand you're trying to protect your business interests, but using this forum and through my advertisement is starting to wear thin - unless you have some information about "seady" clients or providers, I'd appreciate you keep your comments off my forum.
